Dr. Sonny Wang was born in Taiwan and moved to Orange County, California at the young age of nine. In his dual heritage, Dr. Wang can also speak Taiwanese and Mandarin. He later attended the University of California, Los Angeles for which he attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He went on to complete his medical and surgical training in Boston, Rochester, and Dallas that included extensive experience in laparoscopic colorectal surgery. He then returned to Southern California to practice colorectal surgery and to raise his family.
